La Maison Bouillet a été fondée en 1896 à Lyon par Henri Bouillet, qui se consacre à la production de tables en argent massif. En 1919, son fils Laurent collabore avec le ciseleur F. Bourdelle. Ils développent la production d'argenterie. A partir de 1931, ils sont les premiers à utiliser l'acier inoxydable qui connaît un grand succès dans les hôtels et restaurants, et permet à l'entreprise d'obtenir un prix à l'Exposition Universelle de 1937. Ils sont également sélectionnés pour créer l'argenterie de l'avion Concorde dans les années 1960.
The Maison Bouillet was founded in 1896 in Lyon by Henri Bouillet, who focused on the production of solid silver tables. In 1919, his son Laurent collaborates with the chaser F. Bourdelle. They developed the production of silver plated. From 1931, they are the first ones to use stainless steel which had a huge success in hotels and restaurants, and made the company obtain an award at the Universal Exhibition of 1937. They were also selected to create the silverware of the Concorde plane in the 1960s.
